The Finance & Audit Committee (FAC) consists of 6 Governors, 3 Asians and 3 Europeans. One of the Asian members will be the Governor for Singapore. The Finance & Audit Committee shall appoint a Chair from its members.

The Executive Committee (ExCo) of the Board consists of 6 Asian Governors and 6 European Governors, including the Chair and the Vice-Chair. The Governor for Singapore is a standing member of the Asian group. In addition, the Executive Director and the Deputy Executive Director sit in the ExCo, making a total of 14 ExCo members. The Chair and the Vice-Chair of the Board shall act as Chair and Vice-Chair of the ExCo respectively.

The ASEF Board of Governors comprises 53 Governors who are appointed by the respective ASEM partners. They are responsible for the review of ASEF’s strategy and policies, and the approval of ASEF’s annual budget and project portfolio information.
